Cardiac First Responder Course: CFR 4 Hour Course


Course Details

Our 4-hour CFR programme will provide you or your workforce with the skills necessary to deliver emergency CPR (Cardio- Pulmonary Resuscitation) to members of your family, work colleagues and general public. These skills will show you how to maintain an open airway, provide effective CPR and the use of an Automated External Defibrillator. This cardiac first responder course teaches participants adult, child and infant Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR). Participants will have the skills for the recognition and management of a heart attack. You will be trained in the treatment of choking in adults, children and babies. You will be taught the risk factors for a heart attack as well as the basics such as the administration of aspirin. This course is certified through the Pre-Hospital Emergency Care Council and must be refreshed every 2 years.

Who should attend? Anyone wishing to provide emergency care skills to those in breathing difficulties.

Pre- course requirements: None, but learners should be aware that this is a practical course with continuous assessment of skills throughout.
