FIRST AID RESPONSE

COURSE DETAILS

The First Aid Response (FAR) Course is designed to give students a basic working knowledge of how to recognise and care for people with life-threatening injuries before the arrival of healthcare practitioners. If you require basic first aid training as part of your job (non-healthcare personnel, sports coaches, teachers and parents, for instance) then this is the course for you.

The three-day programme offered by LW Management is now measured against the QQI Level 5 Occupational First Aid and is acceptable in the workplace as the qualification to fulfil the Safety & Health General Application Regulations 2007-2015. All the essentials are covered, including the skills necessary to provide effective life support, diagnose and treat injuries or illness, and maintain the care and comfort of the casualty.
