First Aid Response

The First Aid Response (FAR) Course is designed to give students a basic working knowledge of how to recognise and care for people with life-threatening injuries before the arrival of healthcare practitioners. If you require basic first aid training as part of your job (non-healthcare personnel, sports coaches, teachers and parents, for instance) then this is the course for you. 

Cardiac First Responder

This course teaches participants adult, child and infant Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR). Participants will learn how to recognise and manage a heart attack and will be trained in the treatment of choking in adults, children and babies. You will also be taught the risk factors for a heart attack as well as basics such as the administration of aspirin.

Pool Plant Operator Courses

The Swimming Pool Technical Operators course is a three-day program covering all aspects of pool plant management. Accredited by the UK Pool Water Treatment Advisory Group, the programme is ideal for anyone considering a career in the leisure industry and aims to give candidates an understanding of pools, spas, interactive water features and much more, including good management principles of pool plant operations, water quality management and health and safety requirements.

National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ)

Interested in becoming a lifeguard? The NPLQ is a UK qualification that is recognised by all employers in Ireland and internationally. There are some pre-requisites; candidates must be over 16 years old and be comfortable diving into deep water. Each candidate must also be able to swim 50 metres in less than 60 seconds, tread water for 30 seconds and swim 100 metres continuously on front and back in deep water.
